GINA ILCZYSZYN (CO)

Originally from New York, she studied Art on her own by attending many seminars and workshops to aid in her evolution as an artist, focusing on master oil painting and charcoal courses. Creating artwork in many fields, Gina has a passion for oil painting, and illustration.
She took her love for art and learned to tattoo in 2012 on Long Island, New York. Developing her craft, she eventually found her love for black and grey, and geometric tattoos and continues to transform her style daily. Traveling often, She now resides in Denver, Colorado, and is a resident artist tattooing at Til Death Denver in the heart of the RiNo Art District. She has recently taken an interest in painting big, bringing her vision to a larger scale.
ARTIST/Graphic Designer
KAITLIN ZIESMER (CO)
Kaitlin Ziesmer is a fine art painter and illustrator working out of Denver and has been featured in numerous exhibits across Denver and throughout the country. She makes brightly colored, poppy paintings that typically incorporate/combine human and natural elements with nostalgia. With a light-hearted sense of humor, she approaches art with a “it’s for fun” attitude.
“I like having a very clean, cut and paste approach to imagery. In my work, it’s so fun focusing on recognizable characters from popular culture. People have such a positive and nostalgic response to them...often following up with a response of a suggestion on what I should do next.
It really creates a dialogue, and there’s something so gratifying being able to make things that you know your friends will dig. Repurposing them into this new, often female body, is my way of injecting myself into it all...quite literally because I’m using myself as the model ninety percent of the time.

ADRI NORRIS (NM)
On her path as an artist, Adri says,
“A love of creating art and a passion for learning led to my niche as an artist: to tell the stories of women in history through art. The turning point came in my early 30’s, after years of drawing and painting. I discovered the stories of several impressive women—women I’d never heard of—and watched those women show up in my paintings. I saw the portraits come alive and knew I had found my calling as an artist. Today I use art as a platform for my work with schools and in the community.
At an early age, I knew I wanted to be an artist. Throughout all my live changes, moving from Barbados to New York, to New Mexico, then joining the Marines, art was the one thing that persisted. I was raised to be a leader, to see myself as someone who could@help people and improve lives.
It was only in the last few years that I figured out how I would do that. The Women Behaving Badly series was born out of a desire to educate people about women from the past. Their stories have been lost over time and this loss is a disservice to those women. To the women and girls Licko now and to society as a whole. Sharing these stories through my art inspired young girls with role models they’ve never seen before. There’s stories make adults think more about what they have and what they have yet to gain by listening to the voices of the unheard.
I feel as though I am at the beginning of my journey. My list of women numbers in the hundreds and I have barely scratched the surface. I intend to be in it for the long haul.”
